Official manuscript specifications based on FATIMAH Word V2
The author manuscript format is governed by the supplied FATIMAH TEMPLATE NEW.docx (Version 2). Authors may prepare a manuscript using the corresponding Word template or the equivalent FATIMAH LaTeX package. The title, abstract, manuscript structure, figures, tables, equations, and references must comply with these specifications.
1. Manuscript layout and identification
- A4 paper; single-column academic article layout, using Times New Roman or a metrically compatible Times-style typeface.
- Title in sentence case, approximately 20 pt; full author names without academic titles, with affiliations and corresponding-author email.
- Complete author affiliation details, including institution, city, postal code and country.
- Documented manuscript dates (received, revised, accepted, and available online) are inserted by the editorial office based on actual events, not invented by authors.
2. Abstract and keywords
- One English abstract of 200–400 words, in approximately 9 pt italic Times New Roman, summarizing the research problem, objective, methodology, main findings, and conclusion.
- Provide 3–5 specific keywords; separate terms with semicolons.
3. Article structure
- Introduction: context, research gap, objective and contribution supported by pertinent prior literature.
- Method: study design, dataset or experimental setting, procedures, models or systems and sufficient reproducibility detail.
- Results and Discussion: quantitative or qualitative results, interpretation, comparisons, validity and limitations.
- Conclusion: the major findings, implications and justified future directions.
- Acknowledgment (if relevant), References and separate Supplementary Material where necessary.
4. Figures, tables and equations
- Mention every table and figure in the body text. Place table titles above tables and figure captions below figures.
- Use legible, appropriately sized graphics and identify measurement units clearly.
- Number equations consecutively in parentheses; introduce all symbols and use consistent scientific notation.
5. References
The FATIMAH Word V2 template calls for at least 30 international references, with at least 80% referring to papers in Scopus-indexed journals. Citations and the numbered reference list use IEEE-style bracketed numbering in order of appearance. Cite relevant primary literature and avoid unnecessary or unverifiable references.
6. Originality and submission
- Only original, appropriately attributed manuscripts not concurrently submitted elsewhere may be submitted.
- Disclose funding, conflicts of interest, relevant ethical approvals, and material AI-assisted writing or analysis in accordance with the journal policies.
- Ensure the submitted Word or LaTeX manuscript matches the same metadata entered in OJS.
